Danbury Ambulance Service, Inc. is a privately owned
ambulance service providing BLS, ILS, and ALS ambulance
service as well as wheel chair transport in the greater
Danbury area. In addition we provide in house flycar
Paramedic staffing to the the towns of Trumbull and Newtown
on a 24/7 basis. Our in house Dispatch Center has been
recently upgraded and includes computer aided dispatching
with real-time GPS monitoring, Zetron consoles, and a
Digital phone system. Dispatcher positions include call
taking and dispatching activities. We are a non-911 system
and all of our 911 calls are received from other PSAPs or
private callers. Full and part-time opportunities are
available for Dispatchers. Applicants must have a current
CT EMT certification, and CPR card. CT Telecommunicator
Certification required within 1 year of DOH. and will be
provided if needed. Benefits include fixed and flexible
scheduling, medical, dental, vision, Rx plan, 401k , life
ins., and paid holidays. Starting pay $15.43 / hour.
