Providing Offshore Paramedics to the Gulf of Mexico and
International Locations, AIS delivers not only competent
medical personnel, but personnel that become an intricate
part of your work force. They provide other services that
further contribute to safety, health, and operational
efficiency, such as:
• Monitoring
compliance with MMS and Coast Guard regulations
• Conducting
safety and Pre Coast Guard inspections
• Participation
in safety meetings
• Participating
in lifeboat, fire, and evacuation drills
• Inspecting and
maintaining first aid stations
• Providing
training in accident prevention, first aid, and CPR
• Maintaining the
infirmary
• Conducting fire
inspection
• Coordinating
emergency evacuations
To meet general
requirements for Offshore Paramedic you must: Be willing to
drive to the job assignment within our service area (Extends
from Mobile Bay, AL to Brownsville, TX). There are mileage
provisions that are dictated by the client. However, since
they are client driven, they vary depending on the
assignment you actually get. Be willing to be away from home
for 2-3 weeks at a time. Have current Paramedic—state or
national registry, ACLS (paramedic), and Healthcare provider
CPR. Have a least one year of experience on a ground unit
providing ACLS pre-hospital care. Have good computer
experience—knowledge of MS Word & Excel. Average yearly
income is $48,000 per year for a 14/14 hitch with
possibility of additional overtime through each hitch,
holiday pay if worked, and vacation payout in payroll.
