The City of
Hudson is seeking an EMS Operations Manager to perform
responsible administrative and supervisory work overseeing
daily operations in the Emergency Medical Service
Department. Employee has responsibility for supervising
part-time
and volunteer emergency medical technicians, paramedics and
vehicle drivers. This is an exempt position. Possession of
an Associate’s Degree in EMS/Fire Administration, Science,
Technology, or related field, a Bachelor’s Degree preferred,
and responsible, supervisory and administrative experience
in EMS operations as a high ranking command officer in a
municipal EMS and/or fire department, or an equivalent
combination of education and/or experience. Valid State of
Ohio Paramedic certification, Advanced Cardiac Life Support
(ACLS) certification, National Registry of Emergency Medical
Technicians Paramedic certification, Basic Life Support
(BLS) certification, PALS or PEPP preferred, teaching
credentials preferred. Possession of a valid State of Ohio
driver’s license is required. Candidate must be able to
successfully complete a background investigation and
pre-employment physical examination to include drug
screening. Current salary range: $54,475 – 78,832,
depending upon qualifications. Submit resume to the City of
