Emergency Medical Services has the following job openings.
BCEMS is a located on the coast of South Carolina. We are a
very well established agency. We are a County based system
and 911 ONLY working 24/48 shift rotations.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• EMT (all): High school diploma or equivalent and a
valid driver’s license
• Ability to work in inclement weather conditions
• Completed background check authorization form
(available at the Employee Services Division office, 100
Ribaut Road, Beaufort, or here) must be submitted with
application.
• EMT Basic: Must have successfully completed the
required basic EMT-BASIC course and be state certified.
Also requires CPR certification (Basic Life Support).
• EMT Intermediate: Must have successfully completed the
advanced EMT INTERMEDIATE course, be state certified and
have one year of related experience; national registration
preferred. Also requires CPR certification (Basic Life
Support) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
(ACLS).
• EMT Paramedic: Must have successfully completed the
advanced EMT-PARAMEDIC course, be state certified and have
one year of related experience; national registration
preferred. Also requires CPR certification (Basic Life
Support) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
(ACLS).

EMT Basic: $10.96
hr.
EMT Intermediate:
$11.43 hr.
EMT Paramedic:
$12.84 hr Overtime paid after 40 hours per week Check this
