Testing
Requirements:
• Must be a U.S.
Citizen between the ages of 21 and 35. (A person 36 years of
age or older is not eligible for a beginning position as a
Fire Fighter.); AND
• Have a High
School diploma/GED AND
• Possession of a
Texas Paramedic Certification or License or a National
Paramedic Certificate required. You must provide the
following documentation at time of application:
• Birth
Certificate (original or certified copy)
• Copy of High
School diploma/GED (original or certified copy)
• Copy of Texas
Paramedic Certification or License or National Paramedic
Certificate
• Form DD-214 -
Applicants with military service will have 5 points added to
their raw test score provided they submit a DD-214 stating
an Honorable discharge.
